Help me!

Please help me with... Kate Moss's Wikipedia page. Her real name is not Katherine Anne Moss and this can be proven via her birth certificate. However her birth certificate is not public but the 4 references with the wrong name are. how can i fix this? thank you so much in advanceJonathanMadden (talk) 08:35, 9 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia uses what independent reliable sources use, not necessarily what official documents use(especially private identity documents); please see WP:COMMONNAME for policy in this area. Feel free to discuss your concerns on the article talk page, but the name won't be changed unless you can show the name on her birth certificate is in common use by offering independent reliable sources that use it. 331dot (talk) 08:47, 9 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
