Speedy deletion nomination of DeepCloud AI

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on DeepCloud AI requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. COI

edit

On the talk page of DeepCloud AI, you stated the following:

"This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it is a simple introduction about what the company is about. If companies like WeTransfer can publish wikipedia articles like promotions, why can't we even write up a simple one, trying to be as unbias as possible by using facts about our products, instead of using advertisement words. Thanks!"

By stating "we", you imply that you are from the company. You were previously told that you need to disclose any WP:COI per WP:PAID yet failed to do so. You also blanked your talk page prior to posting DeepCloud AI despite it being declined multiple times. You need to review the link for WP:PAID and make the appropriate disclosure. Please do so. --CNMall41 (talk) 06:41, 11 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

As CNMall41 states, you need to comply with WP:COI and WP:PAID. You should also avoid editing about your company directly. You may submit a draft for an independent review using Articles for Creation, but in order for you to be successful at doing so, you would need to forget everything you know about your company and only write based on what independent sources state. That does not include the company website, staff interviews, press releases, or any other primary source. Primary sources do not establish notability as Wikipedia defines it. For companies, that is defined at WP:ORG. Please review.
Please also read WP:OSE; other companies in your field meriting articles does not automatically mean yours merits one too. Each article is judged on its own merits. 331dot (talk) 09:36, 11 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
