Your contributions edit

I am greatly concerned about your recent edits to wikipedia. I am not sure that the encyclopedia is improved by the creation of the article "Life Interest Plan", "Home Improvement Agency", "Close care housing", "Choice based lettings", "Care and repair service", and "Assessment of needs".

Wikipedia is not a how-to guide and is NOT meant to help the elderly asses their financial options. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that is interested in documenting notable verifiable facts. Consider how an encyclopedia should deal with the subject of "elderly care in ancient Rome" for example. The topic would be documented, but it would not be a how-to for romans and it certainly wouldn't mention any particular companies unless they were especially noteworthy. Another way to look at it is to think about what these articles should like a hundred years from now. An article that explains housing for the elderly in America in the early 21st century could make sense, but these articles would be completely meaningless.

Your lack of communication greatly distresses me. Wikipedia is a collaborative encyclopedia and if you are unable or unwilling to work with other to improve the encyclopedia I would strongly suggest that you get a new hobby.

I am interesting in working with you to create a meaningful direction for these articles. But if you are interesting in just uploading them and leaving I am afraid will have to decline these contributions.

Please respond to this message. I am interesting in knowing your overall vision for these article and what you seek to gain by writing them. Jon513 (talk) 17:08, 11 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Spam in Care assessment edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Care assessment, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Care assessment is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Care assessment, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Proposed deletion of Life Interest Plan edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Life Interest Plan, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.  – iridescent 17:25, 11 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
