Embedded external links edit

I noticed your work at Classical guitar and want to draw your attention to a new section I have added to the article's talk page (see Talk:Classical guitar#Embedded external links). It takes quite a while to become used to Wikipedia's procedures so there is no need to worry, but please be aware that we do not put links to websites directly into an article. If you have any questions, please ask at my talk page (see link in my signature), or on the article's talk page. Johnuniq (talk) 04:03, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I replied here. John Rocher (talk) 06:13, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

I've gone ahead and removed the links, as well as your recent contributions of still more of such links. Once again, I encourage you to follow proper dispute resolution on the matter. --Ronz (talk) 15:53, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Which dispute? John Rocher (talk) 16:42, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
This one, linked above. --Ronz (talk) 18:15, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 15:00, 27 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Responding to your comment on my talk edit

Please don't misunderstand the situation. I've tagged the article to attract others' help. I will check back to see the progress, and will once again remove any improper links at that time. --Ronz (talk) 16:29, 27 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

You mean like those that you thought were improper, and removed twice; and are now leaving in. John Rocher (talk) 16:41, 27 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Exactly. I'm not going to edit-war with you. --Ronz (talk) 17:12, 27 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
