Proposed article about your organization edit

If your organization is notable, then get an editor without conflicts of interest to put together an article, based on verifiable information from reputable third-party sources. If your organization is new enough or small enough that it hasn't been written about in newspapers, magazines, books, etc., then it probably fails the notability test which determines who does or does not get an article. --Orange Mike 13:56, 22 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

RE: Deletion of QueerToday.com edit

Hello John. The only thing that concerns me about the creation of the article is the notability standards for websites. According to an Alexa search, Queertoday.com has no traffic rank. Alexa is one of the basic sources that websites usually can prove some notability for inclusion. Now as an example, Wikipedia has an article on the Gay Youth UK, which is another LGBT web based community like yourselves. Their website has a substantial traffic rank and has references which prove its notability sufficiently. Orange Mike provided some very helpful pages which you can look through for further help with writing about topics you personally are involved in. You also can read through Wikipedia:Your first article, for some steps on how to formulate your first article in the future.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 17:33, 22 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
