Speedy deletion of Smarta.com edit

A tag has been placed on Smarta.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. It was a judgment call, but I thought that it was so unlikely to survive an WP:AFD discussion that it made more sense to go ahead and delete it. Yes, you gave references, and they were more or less the same references I found at a Google archive search, but all 9 of the latter said little more than "people are investing money and have big plans" ... two years ago ... with no news archives hits since then. There was nothing at Google books or Google scholar. If you have references that establish notability and meet the guideline at WP:CORP, then add those sources when you re-create the article. - Dank (push to talk) 20:09, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the reply I am still fairly new to this posting business. If i find any further evidence of notability then I will attempt to re-create the page with more detailed pages. I was shocked that the articles were from two years ago though as the company has only launched this year. [[[User:JohnCrozier|JohnCrozier]] (talk) 13:18, 13 May 2009 (UTC)]
