Yuki Nagato edit

Regarding your edit to this article, one of the main underlying reasons for the revert was excessive detail. It's far too much in-universe information that was needed for the article. The details are largely unnecessary when a short summary is suitable. On the case of citing fansite/forums check WP:EL and WP:RS regarding what can and cannot be used. In the case for the Haruhi franchise check [1] for further comments on the site. It's an unofficial fansite whose accuracy and reliability is highly questionable. If you have any more questions in regards to consensus on the subject, you can direct all to the discussion page at WP:ANIME. As far as I know, linking to Baka-Tsuki is highly discouraged and if you happen to see any citations coming from that site then they should be removed. Citations should come straight from the novel itself in this case, yet should be double-checked against a more reliable account/translation for accuracy. Fox816 (talk) 05:36, 13 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Paradigm (publication) edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Paradigm (publication), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Book series with no assertion of notability.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 20:30, 8 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference edit

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer be able to have them marked as minor by default. For more information on what a minor edit is, see WP:MINOR or feel to get in touch.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 22:42, 13 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of Namshub (incantation) for deletion edit

Please note that I've nominated the article Namshub (incantation) for deletion. The article won't be deleted until there has been a discussion about the merits of deleting it; you are welcome to contribute to the deletion discussion linked from the header on that page. -- The Anome (talk) 11:27, 30 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Degen's eight-square identity edit

Please don't change other editors' comments. I've just wasted my time fixing it. Dougweller (talk) 19:29, 17 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sorry -- I intended to add a comment below. John Ohno

Lol - I hate it when that happens. At times in the past when using the citation Templates dropbox Citation has added them to the top of a section and I've assumed they've been added where my cursor was, leaving a mess. Dougweller (talk) 12:29, 18 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Sakura HyperMedia Desktop edit

The article Sakura HyperMedia Desktop has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP: N. I can't find any sources that would establish notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
