I'll reply to your message on your Talk page rather than mine. Unfortunately if the article can only be cited to your book and very local news sources, the subject probably doesn't meet Wikipedia's notability criteria for companies and organisations. Thanks for your prompt reply, Sionk. As for meeting the notability criteria, I compared the Club Pop House article to those describing the Kinetic Playground and the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, and the Cellar in Arlington Hts, IL. By virtue of its location in Chicago (among other factors), the Kinetic Playground was able to attract international music acts and a large metropolitan audience. However it existed for only five years, from 1968 to 1973. The Cellar in Arlington Hts, IL (whose Wikipedia entry has several issues, notability apparently not among them) was a teen club in a Chicago suburban community (1965 pop. 40,622), perhaps more comparable to the Pop House in Beloit, WI (1962 pop. 35,200). But again, it existed for only six years, from 1964 to 1970. The Pop House existed for 27 years from, from 1946 to 1973, and was witness to the evolution of teen music, dance, and social activities during that time. While not large enough to present international music acts, many notable ones did perform there using that time. Some, such as Steve Miller and Boz Scaggs, appeared with only regionally known bands at the time. So, I ask that I may continue to cite what sources I have and perhaps expand the article briefly for future submission. Thanks for your consideration. JoeyBooks (talk)

Thanks! I'll continue to improve and expand the article as I am able. I have a 2007 photograph of the still-existing building, taken by me, which I will add in the near future. I ran the Find Links tool a couple of weeks ago and found reference from the article Russell Dashiell to the "Beloit's Club Pop House" book. I edited the book title in that reference to link internally with this Club Pop House article. Doe that fulfill the criterion for advancing from orphan status? Thanks.
