This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --Joetopia (talk) 00:32, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Mr Joseph William Clark is a former White House Staffer under the Clinton Administration. He was a key member in the foreign trips by President William Jefferson Clinton. He is the youngest Veterans of Foreign Wars Commander in the history of the VFW. He is the recipient of numerous awards and recognized nationally as a volunteer and veterans advocate. He is cited in numerous news stories over the past 20 years. He is associated with numerous celebrities for his work in Washington, DC and his advocacy of Veterans rights. He is nephew to General (Ret) Wesley Clark, former Presidential Candidate. He has been honored by numerous notables including Richard Holbrooke, Hugh Shelton, Eric Shinseki, John Abrams, William Cohen, and so many others.

He definitely is a notable person in the history of the United States and should be included in the wikipedia.

Do Not Delete this Notable American

  • The problem is, this was on your userpage and it looked like it was an attempt to circumvent the mainspace rules by having an article in your userspace as if it was a profile. I've moved it to the draftspace and marked it as a draft. This will enable you to continue to work on it and it does need work in order to be approved to the mainspace. You will have to show coverage in reliable sources like newspaper articles and format it to be more in line with other articles. Make sure that you are careful though, as the newspaper coverage will have to actually cover him and not just quote him in relation to something else, as brief quotes are considered to be WP:TRIVIAL sources. Notability is also not automatically inherited by him being associated with notable people per WP:NOTINHERITED, so just being related to notable people is not something that will give notability on Wikipedia.
