Welcome!

Hello, Joe.Mambo, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome!

I recommended your contribution be merged with an existign article. Please take a look at that article - you are probably the right editor to merge them and you can do the original article a bit of good as it looked a bit promotional. Cheers - Williamborg (Bill) 02:01, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi Bill!
Thanks for the encouragement. I agree with you that the old article is very commercial and ought to be removed, but the generation of a new article will take some time and I do not want to place an unfinished article up until it's a bit more stable.
I will use bits from the existing site, where appropriate, but frankly it is almost a copy of their website. I have read the the patent application and there is a lot of good stuff there, which will eventually flow into the new article. Once that's done, I will review the old article and merge the last stuff into the new one. Then the old one can be removed, as suggested in the old article.
Cheers Mambo.
You're very welcome. We're all new to Wikipedia at some point so it is important to encourage folks who show significant promise (and I think you're one of those based on your initial article). You'll quickly find Wikipedia can have enough policy requirements and enforcers to drive some promising folks away before they get the hang of all the rules. Most of the requirements make sense - and you can get the ones that don't make sense fixed. So if anything doesn't make sense, feel free to hit the Bill next to my signature and leave a question on my talk page. Not always here, but if I am, I'll be happy to help.
Note that you referenced the patent, but didn't cite #, date and title - adding that would be helpful. Also is it available on a public website?
And this edit should display a little better - I did a quick edit without preview on your page and see the template didn't catch the first time.

No problem. edit

I deleted it because of a lack of notable third-party sources which support this person's, well, notability. I'll recreate it in a user subpage in just a moment. PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:30, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

By the way: Please do not ever come onto my talk page or that of anyone else's with an attitude. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 04:28, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Dao Paratee portrait-photo.jpg edit

The file File:Dao Paratee portrait-photo.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
