Speedy deletion nomination of Southern Australian

Hi Wintonian

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. I will now follow one of the processes explained there. I am a librarian at the State Library of South Australia, the creator and copyright holder of the SA Memory website, including the page http://www.samemory.sa.gov.au/site/page.cfm?c=3946

How did you know that the text I included in the Southern Australian article was the same as that on the SA Memory website? Were you aware of the website previously?

Here at the State Library of South Australia we are exploring adding articles relevant to South Australia to Wikipedia as we are aware that many people start their research in Wikipedia and never think to visit our website. I have been charged with exploring this, obviously within the principles and guidelines of Wikipedia and its community, but it is all rather new to me, so any advice/suggestions are gratefully received. It's nice to have you on board, not everyone is so willing to work within Wikipedia’s guidelines. I performed a search of the text (we haves bots that sometimes do this as well) and your website came up in the results so I compared the text. You can still use the material as a reference which will point readers to the website either for verification or for more information, you just can't copy & paste unless the WP:OTRS team have received the relevant permission from the copyright holder. I would like to query why you nominated the page Burra Record for speedy deletion (it has since been deleted by another editor) for copyright infringement when the discussion page of the article showed that the copyright holder had given permission for the text to be used.
