Conflict of interest

edit

Judging from your username and contributions, you seem to be affiliated to Egmont Publishing. Please be aware that we have guidelines concerning conflicts of interest and neutral point of view. While your edits seem to be factually correct, they are written in a promotional way instead of a neutral, encyclopedic manner. You are welcome to add facts about the company and the books (preferably with adequate sourcing), but all attempts to promote the company or its authors, or to insert it in places were it is not appropriate, will be reverted. Answer

I'm just going to be putting information on here that I have, it seems that there is no information whatsoever about Egmont being the publisher on the character and book wikis. I hope to also provide some images where needed as well, ie: the Egmont wiki and for some books and characters.

I'd also like to put up some information on some new popular UK licensed characters that we have information on.

I want to provide information when we are the publishers, as is the case with many other publishers. I think it is also important to know this territorially speaking as we have UK copyright while others have copyright elsewhere.

So, I was just going to be providing information with the occasional linking to our website as we have a wealth of information on the books, including search inside the book, cover pics, publication information and character profiles which I as a user have found helpful.

I hope that all that is alright, do let me know if otherwise.

Many thanks, JoannaEgmont (talk) 11:19, 27 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I took a look at the Babar Wiki and I think I understand a bit better. Thanks!

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page.
