Light copyedit on your waiting draft

edit

Hi @JoIrMu! I read the Teahouse to keep learning about Wikipedia and saw your post. I find it relaxing to copyedit English (weirdly enough, on my phone when I'm just getting up or winding down for the day, lol) so I thought I'd review for flow and clarity while your draft awaits official review. I wanted to leave you a note here first, so you don't worry that you did anything wrong, or think that I'm an official page reviewer.

I won't be looking over the referencing, as I'm just learning the ropes of how we do that on en.wiki, so await the official AfC reviewers' feedback on that important part of the article. However, if they do end up requesting changes to the references, please let me know if you want any help navigating that. I'm just taking on a few small projects this week for the first time to practice finding and citing what Wikipedia refers to as Reliable Sources, and would be happy to collaborate with you on any improvements that are needed!

Happy editing, I hope you stay with us for the long term, as there's a surprising amount you can learn by casually editing and contributing here :-D Chiselinccc (talk) 05:18, 20 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, JoIrMu. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Joakim Oldorff, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 18:01, 21 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the message! I was advised to disclose my potential conflict of interest, which I have done by adding the COI on top of the page. I do hope that is sufficient, but if not, then please let me know what else I should do. Thank you for your support! JoIrMu (talk) 15:38, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
