Welcome! edit

Hello, Jmgp1972, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

February 2019 edit

Hello, I'm HickoryOughtShirt?4. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Juan Manuel Galán Pachón, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Juan Manuel Galán Pachón. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.   You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Juan Manuel Galán Pachón. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 01:36, 25 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Juan Manuel Galán Pachón. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 01:58, 25 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Important information edit

Hi, you need to read this, urgently, before continuing to edit: Wikipedia:FAQ/Article_subjects

If you have any questions about this FAQ, please contact me on my talk page. Do not edit the article if something is unclear about this FAQ, ask first. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 01:59, 25 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Failure to discuss: Incoming block edit

You will, extremely likely, be blocked soon. There is one single way to prevent this: Stop editing for now, and explain here on your talk page that you have read Wikipedia:FAQ/Article_subjects and will not continue to introduce unsourced or biased information. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 02:09, 25 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- ferret (talk) 02:11, 25 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
