==Welcome== Hello Jlove1982 and welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad you've chosen to join us. This is a great project with lots of dedicated people, which might seem intimidating at times, but don't let anything discourage you. Be bold!, explore, and contribute. If you want to learn more,

Wikipedia:Bootcamp teaches you the basics quickly,
Wikipedia:Tutorial is more in-depth, and
Wikipedia:Topical index is exhaustive.

Five Pillars of Wikipedia

Float around for awhile until you find something that tickles your fancy. One easy way to do this is to hit the random page button in the navigation bar to the left. There are also many great committees and groups that focus on particular jobs. My personal favorite stomping grounds are Wikipedia:Translation into English and Wikipedia:Cleanup for sloppy articles. Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation has several other wiki projects that you might enjoy.

There are a few crucial points to keep in mind when editing. Be civil with users, strive to maintain a neutral point of view, verify your information, and show good etiquette like signing your comments with four tildes like this: ~~~~ If you have any more questions, always feel free to ask me anything on my talk page or ask the true experts at Wikipedia:Help desk. Again, welcome! -- Draeco 01:15, 2 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Stub tag on Federalist No. 68

edit

Really, the only purpose of the stub tag is to draw other users to work on the article. If you're planning on finishing it yourself, the tag is unnecessary. BD2412 T 01:06, 8 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hi, left you some feedback at WP:PR. A good start, though, keep it up! Kaisershatner 15:07, 27 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Clinton-bersin-1-.JPG

edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Clinton-bersin-1-.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:11, 11 July 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NW (Talk) 02:11, 11 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

MfD nomination of Wikipedia:WikiProject Federalist Papers

edit

Wikipedia:WikiProject Federalist Papers, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:WikiProject Federalist Papers and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Wikipedia:WikiProject Federalist Papers during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. JJ98 (Talk) 19:30, 10 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
