Speedy deletion nomination of Helisota edit

Hello Jklmnopr,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Helisota for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. --Animalparty-- (talk) 17:40, 18 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Helisota logo.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Helisota logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 16:04, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Gediminas Ziemelis.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Gediminas Ziemelis.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 10:29, 10 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Potential Conflict of Interest edit

Hello, Jklmnopr. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article FL Technics, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Ahunt (talk) 12:34, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

November 2014 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on FL Technics. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. - Ahunt (talk) 17:08, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:Gediminas Ziemelis.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Gediminas Ziemelis.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 17:02, 28 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Antanas Juknevicius edit

The article Antanas Juknevicius has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

promotional article for a minor racing driver who has won no major competition

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Klasjet logo.png edit

A tag has been placed on File:Klasjet logo.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Klasjet logo bigger.png edit

A tag has been placed on File:Klasjet logo bigger.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Speedy deletion nomination of Skycop.com edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Skycop.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. February 2018 edit

Hello, Jklmnopr. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but  Skycop.com has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G11. "This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to conform with Wikipedia:NOTFORPROMOTION." These must be rewritten from scratch from "reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject." See WP:RS.

Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Users who do so may be blocked from editing. Promotional content is vigorously deleted. Wikipedia:Identifying_blatant_advertising#Typical_signs_of_blatant_advertising contains information about content to avoid. For more information on content that may be perceived as promotional, click User:Dlohcierekim/promo.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources . Template:cite has templates you can use in citing your sources. Place the template {{references}} at the bottom of the page, and references cited in the text will appear there.

Request reason:

Hello, Based on block log it seems that there was a misunderstanding regarding accounts that has been working on large project related to aviation industry. Based on IP address (same location) two accounts were identified as the same. It was me and my friend – we are both working on content of large international organization “Avia Solutions Group” and its companies. We were collecting data and references of this group to cover full structure, history and background in subject. Our work is still in progress thus I kindly ask You to remove block for Jklmnopr and Rasakoj accounts. Note, that the reason of blocking my personal account Jklmnopr was not clear to me. I made a mistake and in order to resume my work, created new account that was as well blocked (Lasto4ka1). I want to reassure You that I have no abusive interest. I am committed to finish my work and create quality content (in this case for previously mentioned Group and its subsidiaries). In addition we commit to adhere any requirements for the content, to revise and rewrite it if necessary, in order to grant compliance to Wikipedia guidelines. @Yamla: Jklmnopr (talk) 08:38, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Admitted violations of WP:SOCK, WP:COI, and WP:PAID. There's no chance you'll be unblocked now. Your best hope, and it's faint, is to go six months without any further violations of WP:SOCK (that means, six months with zero edits, whether on this account or any other). Even then, you'll have to commit to refrain from any further conflict of interest editing, as you have so far refused to do. As was pointed out to you, the quality of your content is insufficient and violates WP:PROMO, so I don't believe you will be unblocked unless you stop doing this. No payment, no barter, nothing of the sort. And again, zero edits, anywhere, for at least six months. Starting now. Yamla (talk) 11:15, 1 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Do you have any personal connection with Avia Solutions Group or any of its subsidiaries? Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:57, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
See User:Lasto4ka1, where they have at least partially declared their paid status. Also a strong likelihood of connection to User:Heleni Mamouis and User:Ina.hladyshava. Yunshui  11:45, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Ah, I see, thanks - it certainly looks like a group of paid editors to me. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:01, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Note that this user was engaging in block evasion (admitted block evasion, but still) as Lasto4ka1 (talk · contribs) just days ago. --Yamla (talk) 10:48, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Considering recent socking and problems with sock/meatpuppetry, I think we should require a 6 month wait per standard offer. Max Semenik (talk) 18:39, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • As a standart offer states key of the agreement is basic courtesy and a willingness to move forward productively. I commit to comply qualities standarts of Wikipedia content and resume my work.Jklmnopr (talk) 06:35, 31 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
I'll ask again, Do you have any personal connection with Avia Solutions Group or any of its subsidiaries? Just saying you have a conflict of interest on a sock account user page is not sufficient - WP:PAID policy says "If you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit (your "employer"), who the client is, and any other relevant role or relationship. It does not matter whether you are paid directly by the client, or paid indirectly by an employer on behalf of the client. Editors who receive payment for their edits or actions on the English Wikipedia must comply with both the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use and the local policies and guidelines of the English Wikipedia." That includes writing about your employer or any of your employer's interests, as you are being compensated by them. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:09, 31 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Boing! said Zebedee: answering the question - yes, I am hired on barter basis (exchange of services without financial form) to make analysis and cover the organization and it's subsidiaries. The Group asked to collect data and information from all available sources, to create editorial content with no advertising in it, so that Wikipedia would become documented source of vast expertise and history of it. The reason of such need is that Group has expanded and acquired new companies during past years and has little or no information in terms of background of new units (except for financial data of course). Outcome of my work will be sophisticated histories, structures and technical information about the subject (including certifications, relations to governmental and global aviation institutions, economical and geopolitical impacts, etc.). The topic it self is truly interesting and involves extremely wide range of sub-topics to be analyzed and documented. Jklmnopr (talk) 11:10, 1 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Jklmnopr, Looking at the articles you have been involved with, I think you should not continue your conflict of interest editing, regardless of banning. Even if the articles you create satisfy the letter of Wikipedia policies, the tone of the articles is not neutral and there aren't enough other editors working on those articles to bring them into balance.
Such large-scale COI editing can work for experienced editors who have demonstrated a deep understanding and respect for Wikipedia's principles, with contributions outside of their conflicting interests, and can put Wikipedia's principles first. But you and the connected accounts are just single-purpose accounts for maintaining Avia-related articles, with a clear disinterest in Wikipeda. You made your first talk page edits only now after you were blocked. You ignored multiple notices on your talk page, such as when the COI policy was pointed out to you (#Potential Conflict of Interest). -- intgr [talk] 11:10, 31 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

"Our"? "We"? How many people are using this account? Yunshui  11:16, 1 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
I was using this account and Lasto4ka1 (talk · contribs). While Rasakoj (talk · contribs) was used by my friend 12:14, 1 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Yamla: the key argument in this case is quality of the created content. Despite the fact initial content had its issues (several years ago) I consider recent publications sufficient and improving in terms of compliance to Wikipedia standards. As stated I commit to further improve quality of the content and would like to come to a different agreement - to remove ban so that generated content would not be wasted. I do hope my work would be respected and there would be a chance to revise any promo-like texts (if any). Jklmnopr (talk) 11:33, 2 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

No, and this tends to imply you lack sufficient competence to ever be unblocked. The key issues are WP:SOCK, WP:COI, WP:PAID, and WP:PROMO. Your contributions under Lasto4ka1 (talk · contribs) were manifestly inappropriate, right up until late July, 2018 (not "several years ago"). Regardless, this edit resets your timer. It is now six months from today, before you can apply under WP:SO. --Yamla (talk) 11:45, 2 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
