Move requested

edit

Done. One thing: the sources bodymeasurements.com and her own website lisaboothe.com I don't beleive are reliable sources. Could you find any other alternatives please? Though, I would say it's not a huge problem since there are several realiable ones in the article. Nice job! Triplecaña (talk) 10:33, 24 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Carrión de los Condes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Toledo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Category:Portuguese Way - article content in categories

edit

Hello Jjhantsch, I have reverted your addition once again. Categories are not articles, but a simple sorting and searching feature for articles. If you want to add encyclopedic information, you should add it directly into a regular article in mainspace. Also, caminoways.com is not an official diocese site (afaik) but a commercial travel site and blog (per their about page). Such links to commercial sites and blogs are generally discouraged (see WP:RS). Please source such information directly to the original source, not to some blog that merely rehashes an official site for their own promotional purposes. If you have any further questions please feel free to ping me. Best regards. GermanJoe (talk) 07:41, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited English Way, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Neda and Paderne (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Blogs and commercial sites

edit

Hello Jjhantsch, I apologize if this seems overly nitpicky and bureaucratic, but please avoid using blogs, personal websites and commercial travel sites as sources (see WP:RS for more information). Such sites are generally discouraged on Wikipedia in favor of journalistic or academic sources. I have removed some of these sources, but kept the added content to avoid loosing the information itself. These contributions are appreciated of course, they just need a bit more reliable sources (for example from books, journals or newspaper articles). Please feel free to ask me if you have any further questions - I'd be glad to help. Thank you for your consideration. GermanJoe (talk) 16:14, 3 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Deletion discussion about Tracy Alloway

edit

Hello, Jjhantsch,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Tracy Alloway should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tracy Alloway .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tracy Alloway. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Ad Orientem (talk) 03:59, 6 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Final Warning

edit

I see from numerous diffs presented at the ANI discussion referenced above that you have a habit of making very WP:UNCIVIL edit summaries. This needs to stop immediately. Personal attacks on other editors are disruptive and will not be tolerated. If this continues you will be blocked. You should regard this as a final warning. -Ad Orientem (talk) 04:04, 6 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

I think that Jjhantsch is lucky not to have been blocked at least temporarily over this, as the recent edit summaries have been way over the top. Please cool down and quit while you are ahead. See also Godwin's law, it is just soooo dull to drag Nazis into everything.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 06:31, 6 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Mixing up fascism

edit

When you called me a fascist and a Gestapo type, that was not really acceptable as it is uncivil. Have a look at WP:UNCIVIL. Also you really do not seem to understand that fascism is more of a political control movement that involves politics and industrial control. Oh well.104.163.148.25 (talk) 04:12, 6 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Actually, if you check, there are multiple editors who are choosing to delete my edits and articles simply because they are mine. Personal vendettas based on the fact that I disagree with you and those with whom you share beliefs are mob tactics, typically known as "Gestapo tactics" in the USA. Silencing me because I disagree was a Fascist tactic.JJ Hantsch 05:12, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
Why do you feel the need to call other editors member of a gestapo and fascists? I am neither. You were warned not to above.104.163.148.25 (talk) 07:43, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
This type of behaviour is so commonplace on the Internet that it has acquired its own meme.[1] Apart from being rude, it wins 0/10 for originality.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 07:49, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Well, it seems it was enough for a block.104.163.148.25 (talk) 20:35, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
