The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Copyright issues edit

I see that you've made some additional edits, which are copies of material from this page.

Look for copyright notice on that page and did not find one. I glanced around the site a bit to see if there was any information on usage of material from the site. I did not find it.

Our presumption is that material is subject to for copyright unless it is specifically licensed as free for reuse, or we otherwise know that it is public domain (E. G. Some material created by federal government employees.) It is my experience that some people are aware that US federal government created content is public domain and incorrectly and for that material created by state governments has the same status. While I think there are some states that freely licensed the content not all do, so we need to find more explicit notification that this material is public domain before can be used.--S Philbrick(Talk) 21:26, 29 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello, can you please tell me which information is being removed? I have been trying to get this page in proper order since August; I am an employee and using facts from our Department website to use on Wikipedia. Jjamesdps (talk) 19:58, 27 November 2018 (UTC)jjamesdps usernameReply
