Are you the copyright holder of the image? If you are the copyright holder of the image, it is not good enough just to remove it from the article. see Wikipedia:Request_for_immediate_removal_of_copyright_violation. It must be marked as copyright violation and deleted. --None-of-the-Above 11:34, 6 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

This image was not being used with my permission, is not a "poster" and I don't believe posting it here qualifies as fair use. I have already submitted to that page. Thank you. --User:Jinwicked 6:38, 6 September (CST)

I have reconsidered my original justifications for uploading Image:Turingmachine.jpg and now realize that I made many questionable and risky assumptions about the nature of the image and I shouldn't have done uploaded it as I did. I was wrong to have done so. I have learned a lot about image copyright laws recently, (for my work on Roman Vishniac) and would not repeat my mistake. I apologize for putting the image up without more carefully considering the nature of it and without contacting you for permission. The image should be deleted shortly. Because you asked, I have double checked all of my image uploads for questionable assumptions and can find no other possible copyvio, if you find one, please message me, and label the image as such. -- Rmrfstar 21:06, 6 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
