Speedy deletion nomination of Mainp age edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Mainp age requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. What the heck! edit

I do not intend to sound rude, but this page wasn't created under my supervision and all I did to it was to add a mere comma. You should have placed this tag on Mr. Abenezer, but if you like, you can leave this tag on my profile. It's not a shame to make contributions to Wikipedia, you know. Steven Warner (actor) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Steven Warner (actor), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please do not make test edits, and remove information. Please reply with an explanation. Reply September 2020 edit

Then can I make any further contributions, or do I have to practise first? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jing Chen of Texas (talkcontribs) 01:51, 3 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

You should really get used to the policies of Wikipedia before editing, such as the editing policy. And also, why did you mess up Marco’s infobox? ~ Destroyeraa🌀 13:27, 3 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

September 2020 edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Nathan2055talk - contribs 21:16, 26 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Links to draft articles edit

Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to The Little Prince (1974 film). Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 11:27, 27 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
