Olde Discount (Stock Broker)
editTo tell you the truth, I never learned much about Olde. I worked there for just under a year, in the data processing department, doing a lot of Unix administration work on a big Sequent cluster that was a pilot-system for a new order entry system, but left, shortly before the company was purchased by some other brokerage firm. What I *DO* know about Olde Discount is that the buzz among those who had been with the company since the early days is that Mr. Olde was hiding out in the Grand Caymans for fear of legal action -- and I probably shouldn't even say that for risk of a libel suit.
