I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was Jim messemer, which appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. - I have declined the speedy deletion of this page because having been a player in the North American Soccer League (1968–1984) is enough to qualify an athlete as notable enough for a Wikipedia article. However, assuming that you are the Jim Messemer that this article is about, I should warn you that writing an article about yourself is discouraged. I have seen other articles nominated for deletion because they were autobiographical, but I don't know whether that will happen to your article. In at least one case (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Richard Lewis Spencer) the article was written by the subject, but I as well as several other editors supported keeping it, and it was kept.
