Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Diane Leek. Our verifiability policy requires that all content be cited to a reliable source. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message. I hope that you are able to find the sources which demonstrate her notability; in my view, merely being Lord Mayor is not enough; it is a purely ceremonial post, and you will see that only a very small number of Lord Mayors have articles. Please don't remove the notability tag again without at least some discussion; it doesn't imply any time limit for demonstrating notability, just that it has not yet been demonstrated. Warofdreams talk 20:12, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
The article Diane Leek has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Subject has been marked for notability problems since October 2009; does not appear to meet WP:POLITICIAN; a remarkable lack of independent news coverage provided

Sheffield
editHey Jgharston. Thanks for helping out in the Sheffield elections. As you probably noticed, I had worked on that in stages, hence the construction tag, but it's a hard long difficult slog to do it all in one go so I fancied finishing it today at some point. Thanks for doing the last bits for me :) doktorb wordsdeeds 03:37, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
Drive letter assignment
editHi, in your recent edit in the Drive letter assignment article you stated that H: would be the default drive letter for the home directory. Can you perhaps add some information under which operating system this assigment is enforced. While I am aware of this assigment in some LANs so far I was living under the assumption that it was a user (or admin)-based assignment, not something that would be rule-based or even hard-wired in the operating system like the other assignments given in the list. Thanks. --Matthiaspaul (talk) 13:54, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 14
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sheffield City Council election, 2015, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Conservative Party. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of North Yorkshire County Council election, 2001
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on North Yorkshire County Council election, 2001 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 03:03, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
