Swimming pool bacteria

edit

I wanted to give you some feedback on your draft on User:Jg2439/Swimming Pool Bacteria. I see a few problems with it

  • It appears to be AI generated - it scored almost 100% on the AI detector I tried. This is probably considered plagiarism by your institution, and isn't acceptable for a Wikipedia article. At best, that means its tone is totally wrong for a Wikipedia article.
  • Your work has no citations. Every statement should be followed by a supporting citation; if a group of sentences are all supported by the same source, you can place a single reference after all of them, but you need to have at least one reference per paragraph, and you shouldn't have any statements after the final reference in a paragraph. If you need a refresher on how to add citations, please consult this training module.
  • Your tone isn't appropriate for an encylcopaedia artilce. You are supposed to neutrally describe what reliable sources say, not try to convince readers.

Hi Ian!
Thank you for the feedback. I'm not sure why you say it is AI generated, I did not use AI at all when writing it. Is there any way to fix this? I will be adding in my citations over this weekend and will try to revise my tone. Jg2439 (talk) 16:40, 26 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Lead section

edit

Thanks for creating this article. Could you add a lead section that summarizes all the major points of the article (as outlined in pages 7-9 in the Editing Wikipedia brochure that I've linked here)? Thanks. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:59, 3 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
