Uh, *cough* Welcome to Wikipedia, Jezebeliii. Please, please don't be discouraged by the kind of legalism you saw on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Automobiles; I urge you to create the article, submit it to appropriate people here for peer review (I'm more than willing on this count), and as I said, DON'T PANIC. We're an encyclopedia here, not a legal journal. There are those of us, probably in the majority, who do not relish throwing a foot-thick rule-book at people and who do not care about COI or [insert acronym here] so long as an article is well-written, relatively neutral and verifiable. I'm one of those people. As such, I wish you the best on Wikipedia. Please stick around, people like you that are so willing to enter discussion are welcomed here. Take care. :) Lewis Collard!
