Welcome to Wikipedia, Jeyamalini! I am Calaka and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Help Request edit

{{helpme}} My students were searching for the 'emerson effect' I found no wiki article on 'emerson effect' which changed the science of biology so drastically. I had also put up another article 'the indesturctible properties' which is a translated version. Since I am not a native english, I am not able to put in proper english. I anticipate the editors of wikipedia will look both the articles and improve the content so that it si useful to all students. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeyamalini (talkcontribs)

I hope this gives you some idea of how things work. For more help, you can either;
  • Leave a message on my own talk page; OR
  • Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
  • Talk to us live, with this or this.
Best wishes, --Srinivas 09:58, 7 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

The articles don't have references and they are written like a personal essay. It is better that you talk to us live with this. Thank you, --Srinivas 10:05, 7 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
