My first edit!

edit

Hi, Wiki users, this is my very first edit of Wikipedia page. Hope I am doing it right. The reason why I deleted * stress testing and * load testing from system testing page is because they are already part of software performance testing so to me, it is a duplicity and confuses the readers. Of course feel free to undo this if you disagree or if I misunderstood it.

Different organizations treat them as separate which is why they have separate articles and why they're treated separately in the list. Walter Görlitz (talk) 14:22, 13 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia!

Dear JetyCZ,
It is customary for an established editor to welcome new joiners and I am sorry that this wasn't done earlier.
I am attaching, in the section below, one of the Welcome templates which will give you some initial tips on how to find your way around the system as an editor, such as signing your posts by using four tildes (~~~~). Another convention is that we always indent successive posts into talk pages by adding an extra colon (:) each time; I have demonstrated this by updating your latest post at the System testing talk page, and you can also find it explained in more detail at WP:THREAD.
There's quite a bit to get used to at first, but I would suggest that you take the time to follow the links in the Welcome! section below and you'll get familiar with these simple things soon enough!
I would also suggest that you visit your User page (top left, next door to this Talk page), which is still appearing in red. As you will see when you get there, it currently says "Creating User:JetyCZ" because you haven't actually created it yet; but all you need to do is simply enter some text (anything) and click the Save page button; your user page will then be created and appear in blue from then on (Yay!). Once you've done that, you'll be able to personalize it to your heart's content later on, and you could look at any other editor's user page to see the many different ways of doing that.
Finally, I am often around and you are most welcome to contact me any time; I will help as much as I can. My commitment to you is that I will try to help you with the learning curve and make you self-sufficient, as a productive editor, as soon as possible.
Of course, you don't have to do any of these things but, assuming you aspire to become a regular contributor, then it's helpful to seek advice from experienced editors. In any case, I wish you well and good luck with the learning curve!
With kind regards;
Patrick. ツ Pdebee.(talk)(guestbook) 22:47, 13 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

P.S.: I have now also added a couple of 'header' templates which many editors add to their talk page; if you don't like them, then of course remove them, as this is your 'home'.
