Hello, I'm AntiDionysius. I noticed that you recently removed content from 2024 United Kingdom riots without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2024 United Kingdom riots. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Describing yourself as removing something "unsubstantiated" when it is in fact very, very well sourced is not constructive. Please don't. Thanks.   Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 2024 United Kingdom riots, you may be blocked from editing. AntiDionysius (talk) 22:56, 1 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 2024 United Kingdom riots. AntiDionysius (talk) 22:57, 1 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

In answer to your email, I am reverting your edits because you are removing information which is backed up by dozens of reliable sources without providing any reason for doing so. AntiDionysius (talk) 23:04, 1 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
I don't see any citations for sources on the far right claims, and I don't believe the voting intention or political leanings of those arrested or involved has been made public. Wikipedia is supposed to be an unbiased source of information the public can rely on, not a place for people to propagate their own political opinions.
It's perfectly reasonable and within the Wikipedia use policy to remove unsubstantiated and unfounded information.
Thanks. Jessrabbitx (talk) 23:06, 1 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
There are dozens of citations. Look at the infobox.
Or look at the passages you were editing. In this edit you removed the word "far-right" from a sentence which was immediately followed by a citation - a BBC article which describes "demonstrations by far-right protesters".
This is not a matter of any serious dispute. Every news outlet is using this phrasing. If you wanted to get it changed in the Wikipedia article, the right way to go about doing so would be to start a discussion at Talk:2024 United Kingdom riots; but I don't imagine you will get very far if you do so, because it is as mentioned incredibly well sourced. Thanks, will do. I'm new to Wikipedia so sorry for any errors in editing. Jessrabbitx (talk) 23:13, 1 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
