Speedy deletion nomination of Arts catalyst

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Arts catalyst requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. noq (talk) 15:43, 30 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I deleted "Arts Catalyst," as it did not support its notability with outside sources (all sources cited led to the Arts Catalyst website). Please read our notability guidelines for organizations. If you're able to find reliable secondary sources that cover the topic, the page may be eligible for recreation, but I was unable to find any such sources in my own search. — Malcolm (talk) 18:16, 30 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please can you also delete the AA Singleton-Guinness image from Wikicommons? We used this image on our website to illustrate an old project, but it was not generated by us or by that project, and it is not ours to grant a creative commons licence, so it should be taken down. Thanks. (Tac582001 (talk) 21:31, 23 January 2012 (UTC))Reply

Correct title spelling

edit

The proper spelling is Arts Catalyst - with a capital C for Catalyst. Right? So, it need to be corrected. Just use the {{helpme}} command on your talk page (as I explained in my most recent ebridge announcement) and explain that you need to move the article you created to a page called Arts Catalyst to correct the spelling. A WP admin person will do this for you quite promptly. Good luck! --ToniSant (talk) 08:05, 31 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I am in need to change my main title page from Arts catalyst to Arts Catalyst please help me change this or teach me to change this myself --Jessie Megs (talk) 12:51, 31 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Someone has done it for you. If you get the title of an article wrong, you can change it by using the "Move" tab at the top of the screen. That will leave a WP:REDIRECT from the old title to the new; sometimes that will be useful, and there is no need to delete it, but if you think the redirect is not a useful one, you can tag it for deletion by putting {{db-r3}} at the top (two curly brackets each side).
