Sending someone a message
editHi Jessica. To send a message to someone else, you need to post on their User talk page, rather than your own. You can find these from the links next to someone's name. So if you click on "Talk" next to my name you'll be taken to my talk page, if you click on "Talk" next to Emma's name at the top of the page, you'll be able to send her a message, and so on. If you know someone's user name, you can go to the web address for this page, delete Jessicasophiewiki and type the other user's name.
Once you're on a talk page, click "New section" at the top and you'll be able to type your message. Once it's saved, the user will get a notification when they next log on to Wikipedia. Cheers, MartinPoulter Jisc (talk) 16:09, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
