Oceania

edit

Hello, Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw your edits on Oceania and I would like to discuss them with you. The Gold Coast is not geographically distinct enough from Brisbane to warrant mention there, the same goes for the Sunshine Coast, Wollongong, and the Central Coast. Hi, yes I do agree with your statement but Gold Coast has more people than Christchurch and Wellington which are on this list. Jeromeeeeeeee (talk) 07:28, 14 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Its not about population, otherwise other places would also be on the list. Its about geographical distinctiveness, and where the population is centred around. The whole SEQ conurbation of Brisbane/Gold Coast/Sunshine Coast is basically a single entity for continent-scale geography purposes. The same goes for Sydney/Wollongong/Central Coast/Hunter Valley, and Melbourne/Geelong. On the other hand, Wellington and Christchurch are the only cities of comparable size for hundreds of kilometres around, Adelaide for over 500km, and Perth for over 2000km. Pacific Department Store Pingtung

edit

Hi, I have moved your article to Draft:Pacific Department Store Pingtung where you can continue working on it, until it is ready. Please add reliable references. May I suggest it might be easier to write an article on the whole company rather than a single store? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 06:53, 29 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Shopping Centers In New Zealand. moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Shopping Centers In New Zealand., is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The article isn't needed anyway - an identical article already exists as List of shopping centres in New Zealand - you'd be better off adding to that rather than trying to duplicate it. Grutness...wha? 04:36, 2 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hello,
I do understand what you are saying but this list is more easy to understand and shows only major malls compared to the current list which has hundreds of tiny malls. Jeromeeeeeeee (talk) 04:39, 2 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
If you feel that the list at List of shopping centres in New Zealand is hard to read, consider splitting that list into separate lists/tables based on specific criteria or geographic location instead.
Plus, Draft:Shopping Centers In New Zealand. doesn't follow Wikipedia's manual of style for article titles. See Wikipedia:Article titles for more information, issues I see are:
