You're not alone edit

Not long before I got on the plane last week, I added the "ongoing event" tag to Ray Nagin. I just got back home and went to have a look at the article, and saw that it has been total anarchy for the last few days.

Wikipedia is so damn huge, and doesn't lend itself to easy human interaction on any meaningful level. It can feel really lonely when you're defending an article from a POV fighter.

What I'm trying to say is, I see what you've been doing, and I appreciate your effort. I'm in the middle of reading the article history here, and I'm about to wade knee-deep into the muck. Help is coming. Fernando Rizo T/C 02:29, 7 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! hallelujah, now I can stop guarding that damn article. Well, actually there are plenty of other users on the discussion page who defended it as well. Just a heads up, I think the same anonymous user under like 50 different aliases has been the POV claims. I've already tried contacting an admin about blocking him. --Jentizzle 02:51, 7 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I saw those other cats, too. I had just glanced at your user page and saw that you were "disillusioned"; I just wanted to try and help counter that if I could. Fernando Rizo T/C 03:11, 7 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Help edit

a guy use different IP to flooding the Kathleen Blanco Page, he cited Red Cross's FAQ, but he changed the content of the press and to blame Blanco, this is so POV, he just keep doing this stuff again and again. Anybody help!! --C.levin 18:01, 8 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

I had final exams for my summer courses, sorry. I was previously guarding that article pretty closely. That psycho-troll was also terrorizing the Ray Nagin article. It was so infuriating! I feel your pain. I'll try my best to get back into the revert war against him but I feel it's time for some admins to step in and block him already... --Jentizzle 02:04, 9 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Long John Silver RFC edit

I brought it under the latest sockpuppet name Wikipedia:Requests for comment/John Henry.

So far no response or attempt to deny the abuse. On the other hand he may be blocked under 3RR. --Gorgonzilla 16:56, 17 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Not sure if I did it correctly, but I signed as one of the users certifying the basis for the dispute (I guess, since I was originally involved as well...?) and posted a link which shows I added to your 3RR regarding LJS's mass reverts. If I made any mistakes, let me know. --Jentizzle 07:46, 19 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Image Tagging Image:Gas prices.jpg edit

This image may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Gas prices.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --Sherool (talk) 02:22, 7 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

um, yeah it was MY image. but since I don't log into wikipedia all that often (just found this out now) it's already been deleted. might you people try emailing when you leave a message on a talk page? but whatever I don't really care. --Jentizzle 20:02, 8 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Red Cross benefit.jpg edit

The file File:Red Cross benefit.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned image, uploaded for use on User:Jentizzle, not enough context provided to establish future encyclopedic use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  ★  Bigr Tex 02:16, 29 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
