List of all-female bands

Hello. Your recent edit to List of all-female bands appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Hi - Jenny Amanda Hurwitz here again. I put in a piece about one or more of the all female bands I have been in. The harsh reality of being a femaale true musician and writing and performing distinctly challenging music that puts forward a politically progressive and FEMINIST point of view meant that the bands I have been in were of little interest to the "white" male controlled music business. I think Wikipedia should not be aiming to only report on what is already covered in mass media. I watch "Democracy Now" almost daily to get a truly incisive and international reporting of news. Amy Goodman of that news program goes "where the silence is" not where Corporate media shows up. Likewise, People's Music Network which was partially founded by Pete Seeger (yes - Where Have All the Flowers Gone Pete Seeger) decades ago has at this point both live convergences and internationally attended Zoom song swaps and concerts of those of us songwriters and performers who write and perform songs that challenge the status quo. Again, the larger corporate media would prefer endless "Moon and June" songs. I don't even know who I am talking to here - is it some official of Wikipedia? Why don't you check out the YouTube Channels of The People's Music Network and my YouTube Channel: Jenny Amanda Hurwitz - I am 71 years old and have written over 100 songs. The fact that you are just finding out about underground all-female bands is not surprising. Historically innovators and groundbreaking arts have only the imitators known and acknowledged. Satin Food Stamps - early-mid 80's San Francisco band - all female and all femiist -was a mix of genres and played in punkish dives - we weren't Olivia Records style but we were just as feminist. Life After Tarzan which I was one of the founders of - NYC Band of the late 80's and 90's was also all original feminist music all female. So educate yourself.
