November 2020

Hi, I saw your message at my talk page. Your reverse edit at my edit x2 has reverted because it has no source or reference at the article A2Z (Philippine TV channel). A2Z didn't have a blocktime agreement with Manila Broadcasting Company, only ABS-CBN. Thank You! 120.29.67.52 (talk) 08:19, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

How do you know that? Please see WP:42.   — Jeff G. ツ 13:34, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:32, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

Author in METADATA

Hello Jeff G., I have uploaded three photos of mine at commons.wikimedia.org whose copyrights are with me because these all three photos are of mine only. But unfortunately, In Metadata, author name is written Christopher Quet. I don't know why this name is coming. Here should be my name as Pradeep Kumar Yadav. Please help me so that I can upload my photos. Regards Pradeep Kumar Yadav User ID :Prdp777 Email :pradeep7yadav@gmail.com

Waiting for your reply. Prdp777 (talk) 14:55, 30 November 2020 (UTC)

@Prdp777: Who was the photographer? If it was not you, please see Commons:Licensing for why we can't accept them, and have the photographer(s) license them on their websites or social media or send the photos and permissions via OTRS with carbon copies to you. If you can't get a compliant license, the photos may still be uploaded to English Wikipedia in compliance with en:WP:F because we don't allow Fair Use on Commons.   — Jeff G. ツ 15:32, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
