Armed_Forces_of_the_Empire_of_Japan

This is a useful dab page, so I deprodded your tag. Take the issue, please, to WP:AfD, if you feel strongly about the mater. Bearian (talk) 18:16, 5 April 2017 (UTC)

@Bearian: I improved it beyond the issue in the prod.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 01:17, 6 April 2017 (UTC)

Recent edit to Jaspur

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Jaspur, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 11:13, 8 April 2017 (UTC)

@Materialscientist: the previous edit removed information without explanation. That information seemed plausible, seemed to have been added in good faith, and stood for nine days, but now considering the past four edits and editors, I think you're right, it seems to have been just promoting the Gaol family. What brought it to your attention?   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 15:04, 8 April 2017 (UTC)

Deletion of Bobaflex

@Jeff G. I created that page in 2006 when Wikipedia was practically an infant with only a million or so pages. The page was immediately contested by someone, for reasons I didn't really understand at the time. I was just documenting a musical group. But the annoyance from it was enough to convince me that I didn't want to be involved in maintaining the site. There are people here that want to run Wikipedia like a fascist state, rather than a free exchange of information. I understand some of the reasons for that, and there have to be rules... but I don't have to like how it is run. I support the site and donate almost every year. There was more information on the page at one point, documenting appearances in the media and such. There was some description of their music and such, too. I don't particularly understand the need or desire to delete it, especially since the impetus to do so seems to be the complaint on the talk page from 10 years ago. @SefTarbell: You are welcome to resurrect that info from its history and mention it at the article's 2nd AfD Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bobaflex (2nd nomination).   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 17:01, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
