Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! October 2016 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Balija, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 18:03, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Adding unsourced/redundant material, changing a name edit

At Kamma (caste) you added an alternative name (which for some reason I can't understand you started a section on it above), which was already mentioned in the lead. You also added an unsourced alternative name. In the list of notable people you changed someone's name so that it no longer matched the article. You also did this without using Edit Summaries which we ask editors to use to explain their edit. None of this is a huge deal, just things to learn to avoid or do. Thanks. Doug Weller talk 08:00, 25 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

It is also a bad idea to add new content with a {{citation needed}} tag. You need to learn how to find sources first before you can edit Wikipedia. The welcome message above has plenty of links, which you need to browse through. I think WP:Finding sources will give you some ideas on what you need to do. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 21:12, 25 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

October 2016 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Musunuri Nayaks, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 09:23, 31 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

ARBIPA sanctions alert edit

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Unsourced POV edits edit

Dear Jeeshan Patel, I have reverted a whole gamut of edits by you on caste pages, which were unsourced additions or unexplained deletions. Please stop doing such edits. Now that you have been informed about the ARBIPA sanctions, any further POV pushing will be taken quite seriously. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 09:52, 31 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

November 2016 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Musunuri Kapaya Nayak. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 15:36, 2 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Kamma (caste), you may be blocked from editing. You need to stop doing this now. Kautilya3 (talk) 15:39, 2 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Chandini Chowdary edit

The article Chandini Chowdary has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no reliable references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Thank you for your recent contributions, such as Chowdary (surname). Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version.
