Blanking citations

Please do not blank citations. This is disruptive and can get you blocked. When you see that content has been cited to a reliable secondary source, please do not blank the citation and vaguely refer to a primary source, such as a poster. {{Infobox film}} does instruct us to use poster billing blocks for the "starring" credits, but a poster is not a good source for the production companies. What's listed on the poster is often the result of legal contracts and does not necessarily reflect what companies were involved in the film's production. Beauty and the Beast (2017 film)

There is a discussion on this article's talk page that I wish to see your input on. If you could, it would be most appreciated. Rusted AutoParts 16:34, 12 February 2017 (UTC)

I noticed you changed the logo on Disney's Animal Kingdom to the wordmark. Shouldn't we should use the full logo and not the wordmark? I changed it back, by the way. Elisfkc (talk) 21:05, 19 February 2017 (UTC)

Blanking, adding unsourced content

Please don't blank sourced content and replace it with unsourced content based on your own original research, as you did in this edit. This is disruptive, and it can result in a block. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 01:30, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

I see you've also blanked content in this edit. As an involved admin, I can't really block you myself, but I will take you to ANI and ask for you to be blocked if you continue doing this. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 01:43, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
Sorry, I'll find some reputable sources to support my content before I make any further edits. Considering how contradictory it is to remove Walt Disney Feature Animation, when the studio mentions both of those films as its productions on its official site and both films are still listed in a related list, I'll try to find these as quick as I can. ~ Jedi94 (Want to tell me something?) 03:19, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
I'm sorry for going directly to the nuclear option. I shouldn't have snapped like that. But it's incredibly frustrating to deal with all the socks and vandals who screw around with film infoboxes. There's one who changes every production company to Disney, and another who changes "Dimension" to "Columbia" in a dozen articles before I can block him again. There's another who adds Village Roadshow to every infobox he edits. There's another who adds unsourced production companies to a bunch of articles, then gets all mad when I block his latest sock puppet. He demands that I let him continue his work in fixing articles, but, as far as I can tell, he's just adding random production companies without any rhyme or reason. This stuff wears you down. I just don't have the patience to deal with more production company-related shenanigans. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 05:54, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
I hear you, NRP. I've seen some of hose same guys. But I'll vouch for Jedi94, as he's been in the trenches of the same fight for quite some time. And he knows his stuff. oknazevad (talk) 15:59, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
Don't worry, NinjaRobotPirate. I completely get what you're saying. As Oknazevad pointed out, I too have had my share of frustrating moments involving that same subject matter. It really gets to you after a while. No hard feelings. :) ~ Jedi94 (Want to tell me something?) 01:53, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
P.S. @NinjaRobotPirate, @oknazevad Since we are on the subject of film production and due to your consistent editorial work on film-related articles, would the both of you be willing to add your two cents to this discussion? Much appreciated. ~ Jedi94 (Want to tell me something?) 03:47, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 29

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Steppenwolf and Free Ride. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Rail transport in Walt Disney Parks and Resorts featured list nomination

Greetings. I'd like to hear your two cents on this: Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/Rail transport in Walt Disney Parks and Resorts/archive1, when you have a moment. I have a few people looking at this who are primarily interested in rail transport, but I'd like someone who is primarily interested in amusement parks to chime in, also. Currently, you seem to be one of the more active Disney task force editors, so you seem like someone who could give valuable input on this topic. If enough people say they support this on the page, we'll get another piece of amusement park-related featured content on Wikipedia. Jackdude101 (Talk) 19:48, 3 June 2017 (UTC)

Disneyland Railroad featured article nomination

The Disneyland Railroad article is currently being nominated to become a featured article here: Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Disneyland Railroad/archive1. It has passed specialized reviews for its prose, images, and sources, but it still needs a few people to chime and say they support the nomination on the review page to wrap things up. Your input on that page will be very helpful. Jackdude101 (Talk) 19:33, 1 July 2017 (UTC)

Category:Marvel Studios films

Just letting you that I revert your good faith additions of Category:Marvel Studios films to MCU film articles as it is a parent cat of Category:Marvel Cinematic Universe films.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 15:31, 21 November 2017 (UTC)

Yes, I noticed that. Sorry, @TriiipleThreat: that was my mistake. I was removing the container category Category:Films distributed by Disney from a bunch of Disney film articles, and I completely forgot about Category:Marvel Cinematic Universe films already being in place on the Marvel films. My bad! ~ Jedi94 (Want to tell me something?) 15:34, 21 November 2017 (UTC)

New Page Reviewing

Hello, Jedi94.

I've seen you editing recently and you seem knowledgeable about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
Would you please consider becoming a New Page Reviewer? Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; currently Wikipedia needs experienced users at this task. (After gaining the flag, patrolling is not mandatory. One can do it at their convenience). But kindly read the tutorial before making your decision. Thanks. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 10:28, 27 November 2017 (UTC)

I notice that you have the "administrator someday" userbox. Reviewing new pages is one of the best ways to develop experience needed to successfully wield the mop. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 10:28, 27 November 2017 (UTC)

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
