Welcome!

edit

Hello, Jean Carlos Lopes, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Also, please stop creating multiple versions of the same article, that's not allowed and looks even more spammy Jimfbleak - talk to me? 08:09, 7 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
I apologize, it was not my intention to create multiple versions.
I created the first version in my sandbox, and then when I went to publish on the main domain, the tool directed me to another draft.
So when I tried again, the tool allowed me to publish directly to the main domain.
I'm used to Wikipedia in Portuguese and I noticed that Wikipedia in English has some differences, it wasn't my intention.
Thank you once again. Jean Carlos Lopes (talk) 22:44, 9 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hello Jimfbleak, I appreciate your attention and explanations.
I'm going to answer them in blocks so that maybe it makes communication easier, okay?

- I didn't quite understand how you arrived at this analysis, but I'm not part of and I don't work for the biographed, a subject I discussed in the article.
I'm just interested in the subject and saw that he didn't have an article.
I put it on Wikipedia in English, because although the scientist is Brazilian, scientific issues are not relevant in Brazil. And it has many references on websites in English. In fact, the most important references are in English.
I tried my best to write in accordance with Wikipedia's criteria, so please, if you could point out to me the sections in which I could improve the article, I would be very grateful.

- Yes please I would like to rewrite it if you could restore it to my drafts page that would be great.
I will improve the article and then ask for a review, as you are suggesting.

- My username is my own name.
When I created my username here, I didn't imagine that the majority would use nicknames, so I ended up using my private name, but it is not linked to any business or company.
Only I access.
