Links to user pages and sandboxes edit

Please do not introduce links in actual articles to user pages or sandboxes, as you did at Rebecca Sparling. Since these pages have not been accepted as articles, user pages, sandboxes and drafts are not suitable for linking in articles. and such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been deleted, please do not re-add any such links, thank you - Arjayay (talk) 20:12, 20 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! This was completely accidental. I did not intend to link back to a user page or sandbox. I copy/pasted from a sandbox into this article draft so perhaps some links got messed up. I will re-link the appropriate citation for each place where it says "citation needed". If they are not acceptable, please explain it to me as I'm new to this :) Jdsmith33 (talk) 00:05, 21 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
I updated the citations. If it looks good now, can you please remove the box at the top that says:
"This article's use of external links may not follow Wikipedia's policies or guidelines. Please improve this article by removing excessive or inappropriate external links, and converting useful links where appropriate into footnote references." ?
I assume this message was due to linking to the user page...
Thanks! Jdsmith33 (talk) 05:51, 21 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
