Welcome to the Wikipedia Education Program! edit

Hi, JD! I wanted to welcome you to the education program and reach out to connect with you more about your course and assignment. I'm hoping to get more information from you about your course and answer questions that have come up while planning your assignment. I'm happy to do so via email or to set up a phone/video meeting so we can work together to make sure you and your students have all the support they need! Please send me an email when you get a chance (jami(at)wikiedfoundation.org). Looking forward to working with you! Jami (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:23, 27 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, LiAnna! You give new meaning to "free as in beer."

February 2014 edit

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Education Program talk:Hood College/PSCI 305: American Foreign Policy (Spring 2014)/Timeline, with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 05:24, 9 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Jim, I removed content that was not accurate. The timeline and grading rubric, both of which recently appeared without my approval, are not accurate for my course. I was also not aware that I needed to explain to anyone other than my students why I made a change to my course page. I will update the information when it is the right time for my class to have the information. JD Mathewson (talk), Adjunct Professor, Hood College 06:22, 9 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
