Welcome to Wikipedia edit

Hi there, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that in your first edit to the encyclopaedia that you removed two references. The first one, to a Spanish language story that seemed pretty inconsequential probably needed to go. But you also removed two very relevant references to the New York Times. I've since restored those, but I was wondering whether that was inadvertent, or if you had some rationale for doing so? In general, editors here take a dim view of the removal of properly referenced content without any explanation for the removal being offered. If you're going to continue editing here, you'll want to use the edit summary field to explain what your edit accomplished, and its justification, and to use the "talk" page of the article you're modifying to explain your actions and try to gain consensus for any controversial ones.

If, by chance, you have any connection to CCA, you'll need to disclose that on its talk/discussion page, and refrain from editing the article itself. In that case, you should look at our policy pages on conflict of interest, on best practices for an editor with a conflict of interest, and our list of frequently asked questions for representatives of organisations. For an example of how best to declare a conflict of interest, see here. You can reply below, btw; I've temporarily placed this page on my "watch list" so I'll be sure to see any response you might make. Happy editing!  – OhioStandard (talk) 06:04, 9 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Accusations without basis being made edit

Just FYI, WP policy requires any editor that suspects wrongdoing to make those accusations in an appropriate forum, and inform the editor being accused. Otherwise these allegations are regarded as inappropriate under WPA:NPA . This message is to let you know that at Talk:Corrections_Corporation_of_America#Please_watch_for_possible_COI_socks such allegations are being made against you. --209.6.69.227 (talk) 17:33, 11 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
