December 2016 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 07:56, 20 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • I've blocked you because you seem to only be here to promote yourself and you've made at least one article that appears to be a blatant hoax, Draft:Diagnosed (TV Series). In that article you claimed the following:
  1. That CBC would be making a TV series created by a 21 year old, who would also be one of the show's executive producers - and one of its stars and one of its writers.
  2. That the show would have a cast of fairly well known actors and very well known guest actors, which includes "Lana Parilla, Nicole Kidman, Emilie de Ravin, Christine Baranski, and Angela Lansbury".
  3. That despite no episodes having aired yet, CBC has signed the show for 30+ episodes that will air though 2020. This is also despite the fact that the vast majority of companies only create TV shows on a season by season basis, especially ones that have yet to debut.
  4. The show supposedly began filming earlier this year, yet the main character hasn't been cast. (Especially concerning since this will be a weekly show that will air in four weeks.)
All of that alone is a bit much to believe, given that your IMDb page has almost no credits, assuming that any of that is true. What makes it even more of a blatant hoax is that there is zero coverage of this in the news, something that is hard to believe given that the show is slated to air in four weeks. TV companies want to ensure that they make back their investment, so they pepper media outlets with press releases and news tidbits about their upcoming shows, especially if they have notable actors guest starring. Lansbury herself would make headlines, as apart from one episode of Great Performances, has not been on television since 2005.
This means that I have to question how much truth is actually in the draft article you wrote for yourself and I have to assume that you have likely inserted falsehoods into that as well. Even if it was true, the article was repeatedly declined at AfC for a lack of overall notability. I can only assume that this is all an attempt to promote yourself on Wikipedia and you most recently decided to do this by creating a hoax. I'm sorry, but I'm blocking you from editing. You might be able to be unblocked, but you'd have to show that you understand why you were blocked, show that you understand that Wikipedia is not a place to promote falsehoods, and also agree not to write about yourself any further on Wikipedia - meaning that you would have to show us what you plan on doing if you are unblocked. • Hi Tokyogirl79, I do realize that the article was promoting myself and do recognize that doing so is grounds for blocking... though I was unaware that others could see the article. I was never actually going to publish it (and it was never meant for others to see)... I was simply fooling around with an actual concept that I created (and am currently writing the pilot for) and my dream cast for the show to see what it would look like if it was picked up as series and someone made a Wikipedia page for it (don't worry, it never would have actually been me). (And I am aware how a show is normally picked up: pre-development, development, pilot pre-production, pilot production, pilot post-production, pilot showing for executives, etc. ... again, simply fooling around). I never meant this as a hoax (again, to reiterate, I didn't know others could see it)... The concept actually was submitted to CBC Television, but I haven't heard back yet. I do apologize for this entire ordeal, and I feel terribly that people actually saw that (nobody other than the network executives I sent the concept to were supposed to see any of this... mostly because I didn't want anyone else to see it, also because I don't have it copyrighted yet...). Again, my sincerest apologies... I will no longer be using Wikipedia as a result.
