Hello I have contributed an article recently entitled:Jclisters. Suddenly it has been deleted. It took me months to complete having consulted many sources and spoken to many people. I can't believe that it's suddenly gone. Could it possibly be retrieved,if only for it to be copied? I thought I was simply giving a fair, plain account of someone's career. If it can be retrieved, if only briefly, I will be sincerely indebted to you.

Hello Terry, a temporary copy of the article is available here, please copy the text over to your computer as soon as possible.
The article doesn't seem suitable for Wikipedia at this stage. It uses promotional language, for example when describing the subject as an "acclaimed classical guitarist", "well known, highly respected and always in demand as a performer", and a "stylish, polished live performer". Additionally, articles must be supported with citations to reliable, secondary sources. Large portions of the article are uncited, and it is not permitted to add research you have completed yourself to articles.
However, you clearly have put a lot of work into this, and I encourage you to either rewrite it so it is suitable for Wikipedia or find an alternative outlet for the material. – Teratix 07:10, 26 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Jclisters edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Jclisters, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. – Teratix 13:00, 25 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
