Feedback on Bib

Hi Jcbjaw12 -- Thanks for pointing me to your prelim bib. It looks good -- you've found a number of solid secondary sources that should be a great help to you as/if you decide on the Academic Drama article. Your grasp of MLA style is good, but there are a few errors. Please review the handbook regarding how to list inclusive page numbers -- for example, should you write 296-297 or 296-97 (or something else)? Also, "University Press" is always abbreviated, e.g., U of Michigan P, Oxford UP. Zoot Suit

Hi Jcbjaw12. I noticed the additions you made to Zoot Suit (play). The only major suggestion I have is to edit down the length of the plot summary. As it is, the plot summary is the vast majority of text in the article. What we would normally like to see is a plot summary which gives the broad structure and themes but doesn't overwhelm the rest of the coverage (cultural significance, popularity, writing, etc.). Adam, thanks for your feedback on this and the other pages that students in my course are working on! Question: Would you say that plot synopses in general should be shorter than what Jcbjaw12 has added, or is it more a matter of balance? I ask because I know from her Writing Plan that she will be expanding other sections as well, but this week her First Substantial Addition was due, and she decided to add the synopsis this week. Over the next 4-8 weeks she will be adding more material and at that point the synopsis will not dominate the article in the way it does now. Or, is it really just too long, by Wikipedia conventions?
