Jbrucb,

Regarding your edits of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

I do not know what your beef with AIAA is but wikipedia is not the place to sort it out. If you have claims that their conduct is unethical (which may very well be the case), please refer to competent authorities. If you deem that the statements you made on AIAA are not subjective but well established within the community then please cite relevant sources that corroborate your claims. This is why I kept your controversies about the prize (although I still have to check them) but dismissed the judgement about quality.

Wikipedia is informative and subjective statements, however right, are not acceptable. Whether you are right or wrong, wikipedia is not the place to voice them.

Please do not undo these changes unless you have addressed all the points I mentionned above.

Please read all references provided. Wikipedia is about facts not just place to advertise. Thanks Jbrucb (talk) 02:33, 1 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Jbrucb,

I did not remove the controversies section (another user did, recently apparently), so i'm not sure what you are talking about here. What I removed (comments on quality) had no references whatsoever. So what I said before stands, i.e. "subjective statements, however right, are not acceptable." I don't understand either what you talk about when you say "wikipedia is not just a place to advertise". I guess it was meant at some sort of insult, that i was advertising something here -- whatever that is.
