Wikipedia is not an appropriate vehicle for self-promotion. — Blue-Haired Lawyer 12:39, 2 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for letting me know. And your point is:. . .?

Stop adding your own essays and links to your website to the further reading section of articles. — Blue-Haired Lawyer 20:15, 4 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have published, during the last 20 or so years, over 100 scholarly articles, in eight or nine languages. As it happens, I have put in, as part of my revision of some really offensive stuff on wikipedia--along with other, equally important references--one or two of my own: works that address directly, and in a critical manner, the issues at hand. I don't see what the problem is. Perhaps you would agree if you looked at what I have inserted, where those pieces have been published, what their point is, etc., not just the mere fact of the "self"-reference--you'd see. Of course I could also start to do what many others do--log in under aliases, calling myself, say, Green Bearded Policeman, etc., and hide my identity in every way. How would that be that better? At least, I think, what I do is honest. Because I'm honest, you spam me with this half-baked "critique" for the second time now. So, again I ask: what is the point?
