Article Evaluation Article reviewing Lamprey Everything in the article seemed relevant to a reader who does not know anything about lamprey. I do not think any viewpoints are overrepresented. Some of the facts do not include citations, and the citations do not work properly sometimes. Sometimes the source does not match what the fact is supposed to represent. I did not see any plagiarism when checking my specific links. On the talk page it looks as though someone took out their anger on Lampreys and wrote false information on them and someone fixed it. It's a part of the Wiki Education Foundation. the WikiProject Food and Drink (this is weird) and WikiPoject Fishes. It talks about them as a food dish which is different in class. Maybe that is overly talked about. Jazzmk2000 (talk) 23:55, 18 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi Jasmine, It looks like you have some great ideas! Just make sure to add your sources for option one. It also wasn't clear to me what edit you had done for option three, as there were no italics. I would also stick strictly with referencing peer-reviewed scientific literature.Scientist06 (talk) 19:55, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Peer Review 3 edit

Option 1: If you plan on leaning towards the topic of toes or specifically claws you might want to give a little insight into the pros and cons of certain vertebrates having those specifically shaped claws and compare their function in differently shaped claws.

Option 2: I would also give some characteristics specific to the tail of the Muridae, for example, notice that compared to other animals and the rest of their bodies, their tails are hairless and very long compared to their bodies.

Option 3: I would also include if the tails function of thermoregulation can help or hinder any research that needs to be done on them

General notes: In my opinion, I would go with your first option because it will be much easier to get a picture of a claw than a cross-section of the tail, but you can most definitely do either.--Everyday I'm Buffering (talk) 19:31, 6 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Neutral Content: Your edits will benefit the Wikipedia page since you are thinking to add more images in certain sections. I also think it is a good idea to add information about the thermoregulation of the tail if it is significantly used in research.

Clear Structure: Your proposed edits are clearly written and I can understand where you are coming from with your edits. If you want to go with one option, I would suggest option 3 if you are able to dissect the tail and take a picture from the dissection.

Reliable Sources: The sources you have so far are reliable but have you looked into academic journal articles about the function of rats tail. Web of Science is a good database I use in finding articles. CJManalo25 (talk) 15:42, 8 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
