Thanks for the English summation. I can't think of anything else I needed to know. I am curious, however, as the German group is not known to be filled with shrinking violets, why we haven't heard more noise about its views on the English WP. Thanks for you help. The VE has only just been activated there. And the first German editor has just arrived on Jimbo's talk page. I would not be surprised if more were to follow, despite the language barrier. Andreas JN466 01:44, 26 July 2013 (UTC)

I am always impressed by how well educated Europeans in general communicate in English. Notwithstanding holding a lot of paper printed by educational institutions, I am only competent in English and barely able to order meals in French and Spanish. (Oh yes: I can also read Russian aloud, but I have no idea what it means.). Most of us lead sheltered lives in North America. Bielle (talk) 01:49, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
