Page moves by cut and paste

edit

I appreciate you may well be new to Wikipedia, but in future please do not create pages by cut and pasting from existing pages. You now have a page without any of this history. There is no record of who added the notability tag (me) or any other history. If you make a mistake in the name of an article the correct way of making that right is to Move the article to a new name. This preserves the history and also leaves behind a redirect from the old name. Thanks  Velella  Velella Talk   14:36, 20 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of London City F.C.

edit

The article London City F.C. has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Amateur club without evidence of satisfying Wikipedia's notability guidelines. (The one reference doesn't even mention London City F. C.)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. London City

Hello. Please do not try and recreate this article. We had a deletion discussion and it was decided to delete the article. It does not meet our notability criteria, and will not until the club has played in a national cup. Thanks, Number 57 18:42, 19 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
