When edits are opposed, please don't simply restore them as you did at Hunter Region.[1] Edits that have been opposed should be discussed on the article's talk page per WP:BRD and while discussion is in progress, the status quo should remain. --AussieLegend () 14:33, 29 July 2017 (UTC)

Re this: Would it have been beyond all your own capabilities to find a reliable source yourself, rather than deleting it and expecting someone else to find it for you? Deleting a source for being unreliable and then tagging it is not article improvement and flies in the face of collaborative behaviour. CassiantoTalk 11:34, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

I'm sorry that you found my edit unhelpful, but I am not remotely an expert on the topic and I didn't have a lot of time on my hands at that moment to look for sources. I thought it might be helpful to other editors to know that a new source is needed. While I don't know a lot about film, I do know that that source was not good, so I put the tag there so that if anyone found a source before I did, they could add it. I don't quite see how doing what you can when you can and bringing others attention to it in the meantime, is uncollaborative. Jaxcab (talk) 11:57, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
That's what the talk page is for. Tagging, no matter how much time you have on your hands at that particular point, comes across as lazy. Tagging works best on articles that are either under construction or refurbishment and you want to bring something to the attention of the main author. CassiantoTalk 19:42, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
OK I understand, I'll do that in the future. Thank you for pulling me up on it. By the way, I've found a potential source to replace the one in question, but I'm a bit unsure about it. I'll post it up on the talk page. Jaxcab (talk) 09:20, 11 October 2017 (UTC)
